The Taste of Iowa City Returns

Get ready, Corridor, for a smorgasbord of tasty treats the area has to offer when MidWestOne Bank presents the Taste of Iowa City Wednesday, August 23 in the Iowa City Downtown District. The event runs from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and promises to have a little bit for every taste and temptation imaginable.

According to the ICDD's Facebook event page:

The 9th Annual Taste celebrates the culinary diversity of Downtown and Northside restaurants and rewards the Iowa City community with sample portions from more than 40 menus! This event is supported by the University of Iowa Welcome Back Week programming.

Food tickets are only $1 each (sold in strips of 5), and will be available during the event at 6 ticket booths located in Downtown and the Northside Marketplace. You can also purchase tickets in advance at the MidWestOne Bank location Downtown.

In the event of rain, the event would be pushed back to Thursday, August 24th. This will be announced 24 hours before the event if it is deemed necessary.
