ICDD Asks Community for Input on Public Art
Iowa City's downtown district is filled with beautiful sights including some dazzling public art exhibits. The Iowa City Downtown District is inviting the community to share input, ideas, and feedback related to public art in the downtown area.
A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 30 from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM at MERGE Iowa City (136 S Dubuque St, Iowa City, Iowa 52240).
According to the event page on Facebook, the ICDD is calling out to anyone who appreciates art in some capacity:
If you are an artist or designer, a supporter or enthusiast for public art, a leader of a local arts organization, or own or rent property in the downtown area, we hope you will attend this meeting and share your vision and ideas about ways the ICDD can support local artists and help create opportunities that make our city a more vital and vibrant place to live and visit.
