The New Daisy’s Garage Location is Officially Open

In case you missed the news last month, Daisy's Garage, one of my favorite local restaurants, has officially moved to a new location! The original home of the restaurant, 1117 1st Ave SE, was shut down on February 23rd, but it reopened for business at the new spot less than a week later. The new location is in The Fountains Plaza at 5240 Edgewood Road in the old Beef 'O' Brady's building.

According to their official Facebook page, the new restaurant will serve breakfast every day between 6:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., with alcoholic beverages available starting at 8:30 a.m. They have a pretty lengthy happy hour, too! That will happen every Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Their full hours are:

• Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Friday & Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Daisy's Garage never posted a specific reason why they were moving to a new location, but I'm excited about the new parking situation because the lot behind the 1st Ave location could be a bit difficult at times. We wish them the best of luck at the new building, and I plan to be in soon for my Tater Tot Smash!
