The Ladies of KRNA

2015 has been a good year for the ladies on KRNA. Currently on our airwaves, we have new music from female-fronted bands like Florence + the Machine (“What Kind of Man”), Wolf Alice (“Moaning Lisa Smile”) and Halestorm (“Apocalyptic”). It’s been just over a year since Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless released their top-10 album, Going to Hell.

Currently 28, Welch and her band will release their third studio album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful on May 29^th.

Rowsell, 22, is lead singer of the London-based band Wolf Alice. Their debut album, My Love is Cool is slated for release in June. “Moaning Lisa Smile” is one of the catchiest songs on the KRNA airwaves.

Hale, 30, and Momsen, 21, have been on the KRNA airwaves for a while. The Hale-fronted Halestorm just released their third studio album, Into the Wild Life. Momsen, the actress (“Gossip Girl”) and former Maxim cover girl, is currently fully committed to music with The Pretty Reckless.
