According to Thrillist, Eastern Iowa is home to the best brewery in the state!

A few weeks ago, one of my friends from Michigan asked me if Iowa had a craft beer scene. Do we ever! There are a ton of amazing breweries around our state, and Eastern Iowa is home to quite a few of them. The website Thrillist put together a list of the best craft brewery in each state, and the winner for Iowa is a familiar name for many of us: Toppling Goliath in Decorah. Here's what they had to say about it:

"Toppling Goliath may have begun life as a scrappy upstart, as its name would suggest, but it's quickly growing into a titan in its own right and remains the undisputed top draw when it comes to Iowa breweries. The formerly elusive PseudoSue is becoming more prevalent around the Midwest, including a recent entry into the Chicago market in concert with The Field Museum. Meanwhile, special releases like Kentucky Brunch and Assassin remain near the top of beer-drinker bucket lists all over the country."

The brewery is home to the several beers mentioned above, but also a whole bunch of others like Dorothy's New World LagerGolden Nugget, Rover Truck, Light Speed, Tsunami Pale Ale, and Watershed Wheat. For a full list of their beers, click HERE
