Tanager Place Annual Summer Fest And Car Show Was A Blast

The drinks were cold, the food was delicious and all the kids (big and little) were having fun. Mother Nature gave us perfect weather Saturday at the Collins Aerospace Sports Complex in Cedar Rapids for the Tanager Place 29th Annual Summer Fest and 10th annual Rev'd Up For Kids Car Show.

We want to thank Joan, John and the team at Tanager Place as well as Eddie Pettus and the gang at Eddie's Rod and Custom for letting us join the fun. Admission is always free for this family event with refreshments from Americana Concessions and a silent auction raising proceeds for the wonderful work Tanager Place does for kids in our community. We got to meet lots of great people as we brought our prize wheel for movie passes, concert tickets, baseball tickets and radio station swag.
