Hold up Fall, it's not your turn yet. It's felt quite autumn-like lately, but we're getting another blast of summer.

That's according to the CBS2 Weather First team, who says the muggy meter is on the way back up, along with several chances for a return of much-needed rain in the coming days. Dewpoint will start at a pleasant 58 on Saturday and rise to an "uncomfortable" 70 again by Wednesday.

Sunday may bring rain, with Wednesday and Thursday holding good chances of showers and thunderstorms, which is good news as the current drought monitor has Iowa at a "moderate" level. Temperatures will head into the 80s next week, above normal for this time of year. I personally like this outlook. Summer doesn't end until 2:50 a.m. on September 23, and some of us aren't ready for it to do so, so let's really enjoy and make the most of what's left of it.
