I've never wanted anything more in my entire life.

National Mac & Cheese Day is still a few weeks away (July 14th), but Stouffer's is celebrating early. The company announced on Twitter Friday that a mac & cheese tap is coming soon! It's called "Mac on Tap."

So, how exactly will this mac and cheese tap work? A new article from Today says:

"Mac on Tap is a food dispenser with an internal heater that keeps pre-cooked Stouffer's mac and cheese at serving temperature. It's basically like a nacho cheese dispenser that also dispenses warm noodles. With one pull of the lever, creamy mac will pour out from an aptly sized metal tap."

We don't know exactly when this mac & cheese tap will arrive, but we do know that it's set to be released sometime this year. A Twitter user asked Stouffer's when and where they can get one of the machines for their home and they responded:

"A few Mac on Tap prototypes have been developed, and our team is still working through how to best bring it to life for you! That’s why we’d love to know where you’d like to see them."

Judging from the comments, there are lots of people as excited about this invention as I am! Even Velveeta responded to the Tweet with a simple, "respect." Mac & cheese is one of my top five favorite foods of all time, and Stouffer's is probably my favorite brand, so I need to get my hands on one of these. We will keep you updated when more information becomes available!
