Slipknot To Play Iowa State Fair

Slipknot is coming home for a gig at the Iowa State Fair. It was announced yesterday that the band will play the Grandstand stage on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on November 2nd.

I think it's great Slipknot is coming back to perform for the hometown fans. Whether you like them or not, this band has put Iowa on the map in the metal community. I've always been happy for the success of the band and I can't wait to see them next year at the fair!

I been fortunate to hang out with the guys in Slipknot a few times over the years. The band is super cool and always takes time to meet and greet their fans after concerts. I plan to invite lead singer Corey Taylor to appear on The KRNA Morning Show sometime next year to talk about the show.
