On Saturday, March 14th the Cedar Rapids Eagles Club will be the place to be!

It's time for their annual "Rocky Mountain Oyster Dinner." The food starts at 5 p.m. and will go until 7 p.m. This is always a very well attended event and is expected to sell out once again. So be sure to get there early so you don't miss out on the nuts!

I spoke with Chad Willman, one of the organizers of the event.  He told me, "Jaymz, we love doing this dinner every year. The money raised will go to local charities right here in Eastern Iowa. That's why we do it, and we hope to have another packed house this year."

He also told me this this is a good time for people to check out the Cedar Rapids Eagles Club and see all the great things the members do. I've been a member for 15 years and I can tell you, this club is full of awesome people that love giving back to the community.

Tickets for the dinner can be purchased at the door for $10. There will be a silent auction, gun raffle, 50/50 raffle and other fun door prizes. There will be cold drinks for sale and other food items if beef nuts don't interest you.

If you've never been to the Eagles, it's honestly pretty cool. Cheap drinks, great service and one of the best views in Cedar Rapids. Try and check it on Saturday, March 14th!
