Popular Food Truck Opens Storefront In Waterloo
From food truck to store front, a popular vendor is putting down roots here in the Cedar Valley.
Northeastern Iowa is no stranger to the wonder of food trucks. Some of our favorite spots in the area sometimes take their delicious vehicles out for a spin at local community events.
One of the most popular ones in the area is Big Head Burger. This eatery on wheels has announced that the owners will be opening their very own brick and mortar restaurant right in Waterloo.
Big Head Burger has been a staple in the Cedar Valley community for years now, so the next logical step for this business is to open a storefront. Located at 324 W 4th Street in Downtown Waterloo, Big Head is expected to open for business officially in mid September.
The burger joint will have its grand opening on September 16th, according to a press release from Main Street Waterloo.
Their will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on that Thursday at 1:30 PM, and the public is invited to attend and check out the joint.
"Big Head Burger has been a community favorite food truck and we are thrilled to have them open a storefront in Downtown Waterloo," said Main Street Waterloo's executive director Jessica Rucker.
Big Head Burgers will serve burgers, wings, fries, and the restaurant also has a brand new chicken sandwich available for you. For more information about their ribbon cutting ceremony or to take a quick look at the menu yourself, make sure to check out their social media accounts.
