NBA Drafts Isaiah Austin After Career-Ending Diagnosis [VIDEO]

The NBA showed just how classy it can be on draft night.

While stars like Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins began their pro careers, former Baylor center Isaiah Austin saw his come to an abrupt end before it even got off the ground when he was told he could not play competitive basketball because of a genetic disorder.

NBA Commissioner didn't let that crushing blow prevent Austin from making the league, though. Check out Silver's touching gesture by announcing the NBA was drafting Austin, who clearly handled the whole situation with grace.
