When you're trying to get revenge, make sure to always do your homework first.

According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, "A Mount Vernon man has been arrested on suspicion of lighting a vehicle on fire." The incident happened Friday in the 400 block of Highway 30.

John J. Dietsch is the man that has admitted to setting the fire. Dietsch said he thought the vehicle belonged to someone else. I feel bad for the guy, he got the wrong car! What a bummer, dude.

My friend has the exact same car as me. One night at the bar I tried to take his car home but didn't get very far. So I get it, it happens.

Dietsch is 18-years-old and has now been charged with second-degree arson. If convicted, he could serve up to 10 years in prison. We wish him the best of luck...he will need it when he faces the judge.
