KRNA Summer Skip Day This Friday In Cedar Rapids

This Friday, June 21st is the first day of summer. In honor of this special day, we decided to throw a party and we're asking you to call in sick to work!

It's the "2019 KRNA Summer Skip Day," starting at 7 a.m. this Friday from the Ellis Boat Harbor. We will be broadcasting live from a pontoon located at 2388 Houseboat Court SW. Look for the KRNA truck at the end of the harbor...you won't be able to miss us!

I'm sorry it's so early, but that's when the show is on the air, so we really don't have a choice. But I promise you, it will be worth it! Here's a list of activities that we have planned:

• Live broadcast from 7-10 a.m.
• Celebrity interviews
• Monster Energy girls
• Bikini Contest at 8:30 a.m. (Winner to receive concert tickets and $100)
• FREE Pizza from Mr B's
• Beer Bongs
• Hot Dogs
• Boat Rides
• Giveaways for shirts and concert tickets
• Music from DJ Commando on top of a houseboat
• Samples....lots of "samples"   :-)
