This week we celebrate the 34th anniversary of Metallica's debut album Kill 'Em All. I still remember the first time I heard Kill 'Em All. My best friend Joey borrowed me the cassette and I fell in love with every song on the record.

Kill 'Em All was released on July 25th, 1983. According to Wikipedia, "Megaforce records provided the band with a budget of just $15,000 to for the recording. Kill 'Em All was critically praised at the time of its release and was placed on a few publications' best album lists."

This was the beginning for Metallica. They went on to become the biggest hard rock/heavy metal band in the world. It all started with this record.....the rest is history.

My favorite track is "Whiplash." A close second would be "The Four Horseman" followed by "Hit the Lights."

Let's celebrate Kill 'Em All this week...I'll see if I can sneak a few songs on The KRNA Morning Show!
