The first step is to admit you have a problem.

I recently realized my love for parmesan cheese is a bit out of control. I shared a pizza with a friend and shortly into the meal she said, "You've eaten almost half of the cheese shaker, you sicko. Put it down!"

It was at that moment it dawned on me: I LOVE the parm! I'm the guy that takes the lid off the shaker and makes mountains of cheese on top of my pizza. Sometimes I wonder if the reason I order pizza so often is to have an excuse to pound the parmesan!

Before you judge, remember that parmesan cheese is a good source of protein and fat. I think that's a good thing, right? Either way, I love it and I can't get enough.

I was invited for spaghetti at a friends house a few months ago. It got very awkward when they informed me they were out of parmesan cheese. I wanted to leave, who makes spaghetti and doesn't have a cheese shaker! For the record, I don't speak to them anymore.

If I had to, I could sprinkle parm on about everything I eat!  Next week on my radio show I plan to sample some different foods you wouldn't think would go well with parmesan cheese. I mean, what could go wrong?
