Comedian Chris Rock shared a photo with Outkast’s Andre 3000 and Jack White that suggests they are working on a new album together.

The photo, which Rock seemingly screen-capped from another account for Instagram, depicts the actor, Andre 3000, D-Nice, Jarobi White, the former White Stripes frontman and Dave Chapelle. In the caption, Rock gets fans' hopes up when he writes the unexpected supergroup is “hard at work on the new Andre 3000 album.”

Reactions are understandably split between over-the-moon excitement and cautious disbelief. After all, Rock is a comedian (so is Chapelle). Likewise, Andre 3000 hasn’t released a proper album since Outkast’s excellent double-LP Speakerboxxx/The Love Below in 2003. White, meanwhile, is on a break after touring behind 2014’s Lazaretto.

But for optimism’s sake: Andre 3000 has hardly been absent in the 13 years since Outkast’s last album. The hip-hop duo reunited in 2013 for a bunch of festivals, and Andre 3000 has contributed to a number of albums from Kanye WestFrank Ocean and more. And when has White ever really, truly taken a break from his many musical and production projects? Plus: Even Rock featured on West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy a few years back. So... why not?
