Cashiers in Waterloo will have to pay closer attention to the $100 bills coming into their stores. Officials in Black Hawk County report a dozen cases of fake bills being used over the past couple of months. Only one arrest has been made according to The Courier.

The $100 bills are meant for movie props. Counterfeit money is usually tracked down and production is shut down. The problem for police in this case is that these fake bills are marked "for motion picture use only" so they are a completely legitimate prop to sell.

Police say clerks will just have to have a closer look, as these bills are described as being "phony looking."
