New Penguin Exhibit Opens At Milwaukee County Zoo

My family and I are huge animal lovers. I believe they make our lives better as long as we stay away from the dangerous ones. There are so many I like but my favorite is the penguin. They're just so chill.

Wherever I get the chance, I'm all about seeing a cool penguin exhibit at a zoo or aquarium. Last year for my birthday, my wife took me to meet a penguin at the Shedd in Chicago. That was an amazing experience.

I just heard some incredible news about the Milwaukee County Zoo in Wisconsin. They just celebrated the grand opening of their newly renovated penguin exhibit named "Penguins of the Pacific." I can't wait to check it out.

The exhibit had been shut down for several months while the construction crew worked on the over $5 million in renovations. The original habitat opened back in the 1980s so it was in need of some updates for the animals and spectators. The new features include larger viewing windows, new structures, bigger pool, and more.

I've always really enjoyed the Milwaukee County Zoo. It's a fun place to take the family. It's been a few years since I've been there so I look forward to going to check out the new penguin exhibit.

If you go now, you can also check out the Wild Lights holiday light displays throughout the grounds which are very pretty. I don't blame you if you're just going to wait until spring to visit the zoo.
