Several Iowa Target Stores Will Open at Midnight on October 3rd

Lots of Swifties will be staying up late on October 2nd! At midnight on October 3rd, Taylor Swift's new album The Life of a Showgirl will officially be released, and Target is celebrating by opening their doors right when the album drops!

The Crowd is Your King Edition

Taylor has announced several different vinyl editions of her new album, and the latest is The Crowd is Your King Edition. This version comes with the "Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer Vinyl," and is available exclusively at Target stores. You can actually pre-order it online now for $34.99 HERE, but if you'd rather have it RIGHT when it comes out, there are almost 500 Target stores all over the country that will be opening up at midnight for all the die-hard Swifties! Target's website reads:

"Join us Friday at midnight local time & be the first to get Taylor Swift’s new album on Target-exclusive Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer vinyl or on 3 Target-exclusive CDs. While supplies last. Limit 4 per customer."

The Release Party

If you'd like to keep the celebration going, Taylor also recently announced The Release Party of a Showgirl, which will take place at movie theaters all over the country from October 3rd through October 5th! According to Taylor's Instagram:

"You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single 'The Fate of Ophelia,' along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl"
