Three things are a certainty. Death, taxes, and the University of Iowa women's basketball team winning at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. At least that's been the case the last couple of years. The Iowa women haven't lost at home in nearly two calendar years and now sit atop the Big Ten standings.

Sunday night, Iowa clawed their way back after trailing by 14-points in the second quarter to force overtime before defeating #12 Indiana in the second overtime 91-85. It marked Iowa's second win over a ranked opponent in the last week, after defeating #17 Maryland on Thursday.

Iowa was led in scoring Sunday by senior guard Kathleen Doyle (#22). Doyle, who leads Iowa at 18 points per game, poured in 31 against the Hoosiers.

Sophomore center Monika Czinano (#25), Iowa's second-leading scorer at 15.4 points per game, had 23 points in just 32 minutes on the floor.

Sunday's win moved Iowa to 13-3 and 4-1 in the Big Ten, tied for first with Rutgers and Indiana. It was Iowa's only meeting with the Hoosiers this year and they'll also play Rutgers only once, in the regular-season finale.

The Hawks victory over Indiana was their 30th in a row inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. That streak is the second-longest in the nation to Baylor, who has won 48 in-a-row. Iowa hasn't lost a home game since being defeated by Nebraska on January 28, 2018. That's 715 days ago.

Anyone who thought Iowa was going to slip after losing the program's all-time leading scorer, Megan Gustafson, to graduation was definitely wrong. Head coach Lisa Bluder doesn't get nearly the respect she deserves. Now in her 20th season at the helm, she's Iowa's all-time winningest coach with a record of 406-218. A winning percentage of 65 percent.

Iowa's next game is Thursday night at Minnesota. After visiting Wisconsin on Sunday, January 19, they'll have a chance at a 31st straight home win on Thursday, January 23 when they host Ohio State.
