According to CBS 2, "nearly 60 Iowa inmates want their porn back and are suing the state of Iowa." I promise...this is a real thing.

A new law went into effect this month banning designated "pornography reading rooms" in all Iowa prisons. The prisoners want their porn back and they are also suing for $25,000 in damages.

Damages for what???!

First of all, I didn't even know these "rooms" were in our prison system. Second, you're in prison-- deal with it. And third, can't you take care of this type of thing in the comfort of your own cell? This story makes me want to put down the computer and go take a shower. It's all very disturbing.

According to the CBS 2 story, "The law says Corrections Department funds can't be used to distribute or make available to inmates any commercially published information or material that is sexually explicit or features nudity."

The lawsuit has been filed and we will keep you posted. We're not sure how this will shake out. All hands are on deck at the state house to review the paperwork.

I'm told the prisoners will not be celebrating Palm Sunday this year.
