Iowa Gets Smoked In Chicago

Last night was a disaster for the Iowa Men's Basketball team.

The Hawks got romped 74-53 by Michigan at the United Center in Chicago. This eliminates the team from the Big Ten Tournament.

The loss was Iowa's fifth in the last six games. The team shot 1 from 16 from 3 point range. The only 3 point basket was a bank shot from Nicholas Hobbs. This game was ugly...very ugly.

Michigan made 10 threes in the first 25 minutes of the game. They will play Minnesota tonight in a semifinal game. We wish the Wolverines the best of luck.

Iowa will learn where they will go in the NCAA tournament this Sunday. I'm guessing they will be a 9 seed and will most likely have to play a 1 seed if they advance to the second round.

But there won't be a second round. Bet against the Hawks, this team will not win another game. Too many distractions and lousy coaching got the best of these student-athletes.
