Iowa Football Player Arrested For Drunk Driving
According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, "A University of Iowa football player was arrested on a drunken driving charge early Sunday near Kinnick Stadium."
Brandon Snyder is a senior free safety for Iowa. He was pulled over for driving recklessly near the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Hawkins Drive. Snyder was driving a 2017 Dodge Challenger.
Iowa City Police said Snyder showed multiple signs of intoxication. He admitted to drinking and his breath test showed his BAC to be .163 percent. That is more than twice the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle in Iowa.
