When a restaurant is robbed and there's no sign of forced entry, the first people looked at are employees, right? That quickly follows a look at surveillance video, undoubtedly.

24-year-old Lonnisha Indi Anderson of Iowa City was a Pancheros employee when the restaurant was robbed the morning of January 16, 2017. According to the Iowa City Press-Citizen, Anderson is accused of using her employee keys to enter the restaurant and used codes to get into the cash registers and safe. She is shown on surveillance video and allegedly left the restaurant with cash totaling $3,500.

Anderson knew codes to the safe and cash registers but didn't know there were surveillance cameras? Does anybody else find that oversight rather amazing? Ok, I digress.

An arrest warrant for Anderson was issued on May 4. She was taken into custody Friday, August 11, and is being held in the Johnson County jail. According to the Johnson County Sheriff, Anderson is charged with two Class D felonies. The charges are for 2nd Degree Theft and 3rd Degree Theft. Bond is set at $5,000.
