Iowa City Father Leaves his Son at Home to Play Pokemon GO
It's people like this that make all of us Pokemon GO players look bad.
30-year-old Michael J. Dunham of Iowa City is facing a child endangerment charge after leaving his 6-year-old son at home to take his other son out to play Pokemon GO. According to police, the boy woke up from a nap and realized that his dad was gone, so he went outside to find an adult. A neighbor took care of him until the police arrived. It was reported that an hour and a half passed before the father called 9-1-1 to see where his son was.
Because the boy was too young to fend for himself, Dunham now faces up to two years in jail.
