Home Depot Honors Veterans

I made a trip to Home Depot In Cedar Rapids over the weekend. When I got to the parking lot, I noticed one of those special reserved parking spots. These are normally a courtesy for pregnant women, on-line pick up orders, gold card members, or VIP's.

Home Depot has one of these reserved spots right in the front row of the lot. I was very happy when I saw who they were honoring.

This very special parking spot is for Purple Heart veterans. A store employee told me the signs were provided by Wounded Warriors Family Support. What a great way to honor veterans every time they enter the store!

I want to thank Home Depot for adding the reserved spaces. If there is anybody in this country that deserves a perk, it's the brave men and women that served our country.
