Hawks Favored This Week Against The Cyclones
The Hawkeye football team will travel to Ames this week to take on the Iowa State Cyclones. If you ask me, there's nothing better then the annual Cy-Hawk Series! Saturday's game will start at 11:00 a.m. You can watch all of the action on ESPN 2.
According to my friends in Las Vegas, Iowa is favored by 2.5. The OVER/UNDER on the contest is set at 48....This marks the 17th straight year in a row the Hawks have been favored to win this game.
The Hawkeyes are 11-2 (against the spread) as an away favorite since 2012. Iowa is also 9-1 (straight up) on the road the past two seasons. I don't give advice, but the Hawks look like the smart play on Saturday.
Iowa looked good last week in their 24-3 victory over Wyoming. Quarterback Nate Stanley threw three touchdowns in his first career start. Iowa State also won their first game of the season.
