Grease is the Word at Theatre Cedar Rapids

One of the most beloved and well known musicals in modern theatre is coming to Eastern Iowa when Theatre Cedar Rapids opens Grease on Friday, September 15th.

Chances are good that you've seen the movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, but in case you haven't, Theatre Cedar Rapids' Facebook event page can clue you in on what this show is all about:

Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies”. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new good girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through all of your Grease favorites!
