Foreigner Tour Returns to Bridge View Center in Nearby Ottumwa
94.1 KRNA is pleased to report that the Foreigner concert originally scheduled for April 8th at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa has confirmed a new date June 24th.
Scott Hallgren, the Executive Director of the Bridge View Center told KRNA the band is excited to hit the road with the new tour date now scheduled.
Current ticket holders are reminded to simply hold on to your original April 8 tickets, as they will be honored for the new date on June 24. The show time remains the same.
Foreigner's most recent Cedar Rapids concert was three years ago in 2018 at the US Cell Center. One of the concert's highlights was when the Solon High School Choir joined the band onstage for a memorable performance of "I Want to Know What Love Is".
The Solon High School also received a $500 gift from Foreigner. The rock band has a tradition of supporting local music students at many schools in cities on their concert routes.
Foreigner at Parlor City Pub, March 2018
The evening before the show members of Foreigner also appeared for an intimate little acoustic set at Parlor City Pub and Eatery, 1125 Third St. SE in the New Bo District.
It was a great time with lots of friends packing the place.
Backstage before the concert began, Cedar Rapids Council Member Ashley Vanorny presented the band with keys to the city proclamations.
So it's no surprise that Eastern Iowa fans are glad to see Foreigner nearby soon.
