Florida Man Pulls Gun On Teens In Road Rage, Realizes One Is His Neighbor

"Oh, my bad, bro."

One of the many, many phrases we use to apologize in the moment when we realize we did something wrong, but it doesn't always fix the situation - as one man in Florida found out this week.

Three students from the Palmetto Ridge High School reported to police that a man pointed a gun at them after driving his truck at their vehicle and forcing them onto a dead-end street.

According to the report from the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the three juveniles were in their car driving to school when a large, white pickup truck pulled up to them aggressively. The student driving the car began backing his vehicle up, and the truck followed closely in front of them until their car was backed up to a canal.

The suspect, now identified as 40-year-old Armando Massiate, pointed a gun out the window on the driver's side of the truck, yelled and cursed at the students, and told them to stay in the car and not to move.

After exiting the vehicle, Massiate approached the students, still holding the gun. He repeatedly pointed the gun at them and continued to yell and curse.

One student rolled down the window and recognized Massiate as his neighbor.

When he recognized the student as his neighbor, Massiate said "Oh, my bad, bro," then got back in his truck and drove off.

Obviously being able to be identified easily, Massiate was picked up by police and taken to the Naples jail, where he still sits.

Two of the three teen's families plan to pursue charges against him.

He's currently in the Naples Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and intent to kill.
