Iowa Prefers Tequila In Unique Way Compared To Much Of America
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.
For some, it's a drink that can't be drank. For others, it's a drink to get drunk. Then some will sip and savor or pound and ground. Just depends on the night and the bar.
But as a connoisseur of tequila, it was a bit saddening to see how Iowa likes its tequila.
Tequila Trends Across America
Fashionnova.com did a fun survey to talk about tequila and found that America likes Blanco followed by Reposado. I agree with these choices.
It's also nice to see that the majority of us aren't ruining the tequila by adding salt and lime.
Oh by the way, if you are actually reading this part of the story and not just quickly scrolling to the bottom to see how Iowa likes its tequila, I'm having a drink while writing. Thank goodness for spellcheck.
Tequila Spends Across America
It's important to find people in your life that share common interests. Where are these 41% that want tequila over coffee? Cause we got some drinking to do. You are my people.
And who are these 26% spending $100 or more a month on tequila? Can we be friends? The first round is apparently on you!
Hey by the way, if you are still reading this and trying to just scroll past the pop-ups on our app, the book of face, or the break of news, thank you. I appreciate you reading all this as I type between sips. Oh also, if you think I'm drinking at work...not really. I'm at home working. We do that a lot. But hey, I can have some drinks here.
Also, I was going to say, you should totally comment on whatever platform you are reading this if you are actually seeing this part of the story. Thanks. Ok...now the part you are here for.
Iowa Is Unique In Tequila Tastes
Really Iowa? One of eight states that choose Jose Cuervo over Patron. Not like Patron is the greatest tequila out there but it's better than Jose.
Meanwhile, everyone around Iowa fits in the majority. Patron in a "cocktail" which let's be real, is a margarita.
Also, give it up to Idaho. Jose Cuervo shots! That's like some end-of-the-night don't care anymore party till hitting the floor stuff right there.
Next time I see you at one of our events or a concert we can have a drink together. Because no matter what kind of tequila you like or how you take it, tequila always tastes better with friends. Insert drunken "awwwee" here.
