ORIGINAL: Coming up at 8 o'clock today, the official announcement for a new concert booked at the TaxSlayer Center for July.

On July 9th, the TaxSlayer Center will be hosting Firehouse, Winger, and Brandon Gibbs.

I have it on good authority, because one of the guys from Firehouse tipped me off about the show coming through the area.

Firehouse torched the pop and rock charts in the early 1990s with their debut self-titled album, which had certified sales of more than 1 million units in the United States alone. The disc included a trio of hit singles, led by the power ballad “Love of a Lifetime,” which became the band’s first Top Ten hit. Firehouse recorded another hit album with their follow-up, Hold Your Fire. That album was led by their second Top Ten single, “When I Look Into Your Eyes.”

Winger, of course, is known for their chart topping hits, like "Seventeen," "Headed For Heartbreak," and "Miles Away."

Iowa's own Brandon Gibbs is also a part of the show. He started a band with his brother at a young age, and they ended up opening for bands like The Doobie Brothers, Poison, Bret Michaels, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, George Thorogood.

You've heard his most recent song on our show plenty of times; Testify with his newest project, Devil City Angels.
