If you're a vinyl lover in the Cedar Rapids area your options have been a bit limited. I've been collecting records for less than a year now and have discovered a few places that carry vinyl. I even visited a record store in Iowa City. While I was there, I wondered why no one had done something like this in Cedar Rapids? Say hello to The Analog Vault.

The Analog Vault opened for business on October 28th in the Newbo District in Cedar Rapids. How did I miss this? The are on the second floor of the Village Bank and Trust Building. The store is run by four friends who all have full-time jobs, so store hours are basically 4 nights a week. The store will have special hours on Black Friday and during the holidays. The best way to find out store hours is to watch their Facebook page and watch for their sidewalk sign in Newbo.

The store will sell new and used vinyl and some turntable sales and repair. Finally, someplace in Cedar Rapids for vinyl lovers to hang out! I can't wait to check out The Analog Vault soon!
