Fast Food Location Closes In Cedar Rapids

It looks like another restaurant has closed in Cedar Rapids. This time, it was a very popular fast-food joint on the SW side of town. And it's just a few miles from where I live!

Hardee's, located at 35 Miller Avenue, has officially closed the doors. This is the location just a few blocks from Kirkwood Community College. I took a picture of the sign that was recently posted on the entrance to the building:

This closing doesn't surprise me at all. Like I said, I don't live too far away from Miller Avenue. I would sometimes stop after work for a quick burger. It never seemed to be very busy and that always surprised me. I figured with the college so close, the students would keep the place busy. I was wrong, and now it's closed.
