Farley Speedway To Host Iowa’s Richest Modified Race Ever
Iowa's richest Modified race is coming to the Farley Speedway. How rich? How bout $50,000 to the winner of the Modified's and $20,000 to the Sportmods. Yes, this is no misprint!!! It will be the large payout in the history of Modified dirt track racing in Iowa history.
Modified Super Weekend will be May 11 thru 13 at the Farley Speedway. The record purse will pay Saturday night's Modified winner $50,000. Modified drivers from across the U.S. are expected to compete. Sportmods will race for the winning check of $20,000.
The new ownership of the Farley Speedway is made up of three successful businessmen looking to bring excitement to eastern Iowa, and this three days of racing should certainly do it.
Thursday, May 11th will be an open practice while Friday night will be qualifying racing to set lineups for last chance and Championship races, which are held on Saturday.
