Everything You Need to Know About This Weekend's BBQ Roundup

BBQ fans - this weekend is all about you! The Cedar Rapids BBQ Roundup begins this Thursday, and it's about to be DELICIOUS.

This year's event will once again be held at the McGrath Amphitheatre, with four days of award-winning food, live music, and other fun activities. It is free to attend if you have a Freedom Festival button, if you're 12 or younger, or if you visit for lunch on Thursday or Friday between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Otherwise the cost is $3.

There will be six vendors present at this year's event, including:

Thursday, June 20th
- Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Salute to Veterans Day
  - Free admission for veterans, law enforcement & first responders
- Bags Tournament begins at 5:30 p.m.
Friday, June 21st
- Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Bags Tournament begins at 5:30 p.m.
- Canvas & Cocktails
  - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  - Cost is $40 - includes a $5 drink voucher

Saturday, June 22nd
- Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Free admission for bicyclists until 3 p.m.
- BBQ Roundup Beerfest
  - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  - "Sample over 30 local beers from some of the top Iowa brewers"
  - Tickets are $30 in advance/$35 at the door - includes entry, $10 in BBQ Bucks, and a commemorative glass
  - Beerfest tickets are cash-only and are available at the U.S. Cellular Center
Sunday, June 23rd
- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Family Fun Day
  - Featuring bounce houses, face painting, carnival games, trackless train rides, and more
  - Awards Ceremony is at 3:30 p.m.
