Electronic Hunting Licensing System Debuts from Iowa DNR

For those who like to hunt and fish, you can now get your licenses and permits much easier in Iowa.

While the Iowa Department of Natural Resources you can still stop by your local licensing agent, and there are 16 of them within ten miles of Cedar Rapids, a new system is online to allow you to do it electronically.

"Go Outdoors Iowa" has launched, giving you the ability to purchase your hunting or fishing license online. You can download the app, set up your profile for free, and use it on your phone, computer, laptop or tablet to buy or renew your license, edit your customer profile, and perform other tasks.

They've been letting you do your drivers' license online for a while now, it was only a matter of time before this service was available, too.
