Three eastern Iowa men got a big surprise Thursday morning when they broke into a home in Dubuque. According to KCRG, the three men intended to enter a house and assault a man. However, they apparently broke into the wrong home.

Police officers responded to a call of a break-in at a house in the 1600 block of Main Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. Thursday, February 21. Those accused of breaking in were in for a very big surprise.

When the homeowner heard a ruckus at his front door, he went and got his handgun. He then went to his front door, where he found three individuals who had entered the house. After seeing the gun, the three took off.
