Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day with These Local Deals [PHOTOS]

There are plenty of places in the corridor to get a good deal on National Cheeseburger Day!

I just love food holidays, don't you? September 18th is also known as National Cheeseburger Day, a day to celebrate the wonderful and glorious burger with cheese. If you're looking to grab a quick bite to eat today, there are plenty of local fast food joints that have deals going on right now. Here are a few of them:

• Burger King
  • For a limited time, you can mix and match two Whoppers for $6
• McDonald’s
  • If you buy one large sandwich you get one free when ordering through the McDonald’s app - the deal is valid through October 1st
• Wendy’s
  • At participating locations, you can get a Giant Junior Bacon Cheeseburger meal (including a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, nuggets and a drink) for only $5
• Dairy Queen
  • Participating restaurants are offering a bucket lunch with a Deluxe Cheeseburger, fries, a 21-ounce drink, and a sundae for only $5

When it comes to fast food, I love the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy's. I almost always prefer sit-down restaurants, though. We have some fantastic burger joints here in Eastern Iowa, and today we asked you to share some of yours on Facebook. Here are some of the results:
