Riley's restaurant and the bar Moose McDuffy's are finally set to reopen at the end of July. Riley's owner Richard Pankey told KCRG that there have been a few setbacks during the rebuild, but the owners of the two establishments wanted to get it right.

Both businesses were damaged by fire in September of 2016. Riley's rebuild includes a new ceiling, AC, light fixtures, and new bathrooms. The next step is bringing in and installing all the new kitchen equipment and getting things ready to reopen by the end of next month. Pankey is also working on restoring and repairing memorabilia that was on the walls of the restaurant before the fire.

Building owner Josh Albert told KCRG that Moose McDuffy's took more money and longer to repair than originally expected.
