Cedar Rapids’ Newest Bar and Deli Opening Monday

On Saturday night my Facebook news feed was blowing up.

The buzz had nothing to do with the implosion of the Wisconsin Badgers or the Pontiac Silverdome.

The sizzling story of the weekend was the soft opening of Cedar Rapids newest hangout, Quinton's Bar and Deli.

Quinton's is located at 450 1st St. SW across from the McGrath Amphitheater, and will celebrate their grand opening on Monday.

The 'soft opening' on Saturday night was filled with local celebs and high profile politicos in a scene described as the birth of a "trendy, new hipster hangout" of Cedar Rapids.

But it's more than just a place to rub elbows and be seen with the cool kids. Quinton's has a reputation for serving up delicious sandwiches and other deli favorites.

The menu features pulled pork nachos, specialty burgers, wings, deli sandwiches and combos with enough variety to satisfy everyone in the group.

It looks like a terrific holiday season is in store for this newcomer to the ever-expanding local restaurant scene in Cedar Rapids. The bar's Facebook page boasts over two dozen 5-star reviews from satisfied customers.
