Busch Light is Launching a New Fall Flavor
If there's one thing I've learned since moving to Iowa almost six years ago, it's that Busch Light is the unofficial state beverage. Iowans absolutely LOVE their Busch Light, but I'm wondering if they'll love this new Busch Light flavor...
According to BroBible, Busch Light Apple will be arriving in stores as soon as next week. The can says it's a "Crisp Apple Lager." The limited-edition flavor may be new to us, but this is actually the second time the company has attempted to put apple in their beer. BroBible says:
"This is is Anheuser-Busch’s second go-around at an apple-themed beer. In November 2015, ABI released Bud Light Apple, a crisp and slightly sweet beer with a limited release in the state of Georgia."
Back on July 6th, the official Busch Beer Twitter account posted a teaser video of the new flavor, announcing that it would be released nationwide on July 13th. All the video shows is a shadowy portion of what appears to be a red can, but people have seemed to figure out the mystery. I guess it helps that beverage distributors have begun teasing the beverage on social media...
We are very quickly approaching the time of year where pumpkin and apple-flavored EVERYTHING start to pop up on shelves, but I'm certainly not complaining! I typically love every fall flavor out there, I just don't know how I feel about this one yet. I don't think I would purchase it myself, but I'd definitely be willing to try it! What do you think about Busch Light Apple? Let us know in the comments!
