Another concert in Cedar Rapids has been cancelled this month, but it has nothing to do with the flood.

Travis Barker of '90s alternative pop band Blink-182 was not medically cleared to tour by his doctors due to undisclosed health issues, so the band is cancelling 15 dates, including Cedar Rapids at the U.S. Cellular Center on September 24.

Barker released the following statement:

The past few months have just sucked as I have been sidelined just waiting for my doctors to clear me so I could get back on the road and perform with my band.  Unfortunately, the risks associated with drumming are still too great.  I am doing everything I need to do so I can get back on the road as soon as possible. I want to thank my fans, family, friends and bandmates for all the love and support

We wish Travis Barker and his bandmates the best. Their 15-date mini-tour also included a stop September 25 in Council Bluffs.

Customers who bought tickets online should expect an automatic refund. Ticket buyers are encouraged to contact the U.S. Cellular Center Box Office at (319) 731-4510 with questions or concerns.
