Another Record Month At CID

According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, "June was another record month for travelers flying out of the Eastern Iowa Airport."

In June, a total of 127,333 passengers flew out of CID. That's a 19.5 percent increase from June of 2018. It seems like people really like our little airport here in Cedar Rapids!

The increase is no surprise to me. CID is one of the best airports in the country. There really is no need to fly out of the Quad Cities or Des Moines anymore. You're not saving money traveling to those places, and CID has great service and very few delays.

The Eastern Iowa Airport now offers nonstop service to 15 destinations on five airlines. It works great for me, as I have family in Las Vegas and Arizona. I fly Allegiant direct at least 3 times a year.

Congratulations CID, and thanks for being a "our" little airport here in Cedar Rapids.
