One of the guys behind one of the most beloved shows on television will be doing a virtual lecture courtesy of the University of Iowa!

It was announced yesterday by the University Lecture Committee that 'An Evening with Dan Levy' will take place virtually on Friday, April 9th at 9 p.m. According to their Facebook page:

"For more than 30 years, The University of Iowa Lecture Committee has brought some of the world's great thinkers to the University of Iowa campus. Speakers have included an impressive roster of national and international figures in science, politics, business, human rights, law, and the arts."

The discussion with Dan, best known for his role as David on Schitt's Creek, is actually presented in partnership with two other Iowa Universities: Iowa State University and the University of Northern Iowa. There will be moderators from all three schools leading the conversation.

Dan Levy is not only an actor, but a writer, director, and producer. He and his father Eugene Levy co-created the show Schitt's Creek, which went on the win nine Emmy Awards after its 6th and final season. The Canadian has gone on to act in the movie 'The Happiest Season,' he hosted a February episode of Saturday Night Live, and he starred in the M&Ms Super Bowl commercial.

I am absolutely obsessed with Schitt's Creek and David is my number one favorite character, so I can' wait to check this out! If you're interested in watching and listening to 'An Evening with Dan Levy,' the livestream link will be accessible at 8:45 p.m. on April 9th HERE.
