Tonight's episode of Wheel of Fortune on NBC will feature a student from right here in Eastern Iowa!

Tallie Kerr is a Johnston, Iowa native and a junior at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. The Des Moines Register reports that Tallie is "majoring in psychology and minoring in health and nutrition services." She's been watching "Wheel of Fortune" since she was a kid.

After attending the Wheelmobile event in Osceola last spring, Tallie was picked for a second audition. She found out she was officially chosen as a contestant four weeks later when she got a letter in the mail. She filmed the episode in Calfornia back in early February.

Kallie will be featured in tonight's "College Week Spring Break" episode with other college students who were chosen, and they will be solving "hangman-style puzzles." She announced she would be on the show just last week, sharing a photo on Facebook and writing:

"Got to check off a MAJOR bucket list item this year!! I had the most incredible time and I can’t wait to share it with everyone! Tune in on TUESDAY, MARCH 17th to watch me play Wheel of Fortune on College Week!!"

The episode will air tonight on NBC at 6:30 p.m. We can't wait to see Tallie make Iowa proud!
