A Rescued Iowa Cat Has Made an Incredible Transformation [PHOTOS]

Last Friday night, Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids shared the incredible story of a stray cat named Naezy who has recently undergone a total transformation.
Let's start from the beginning. The Facebook post from Critter Crusaders says that Naezy was just a stray cat living on a farm, when she was spotted by Kelly, the farm's owner. Naezy was easy to spot, because she had an enormous growth on her nose and mouth. After several attempts, Kelly was able to successfully capture Naezy on Thursday, and she was handed over to SAINT Rescue in Cedar Rapids. That's when it was determined that Naezy would need to undergo surgery right away to remove the tumor. Critter Crusaders stepped in, and Naezy's road to recovery was able to begin. According to the post:
"Naezy was transported by CC’s own Dave Hunt to Blue Pearl Des Moines. We sent the photos to surgeon Dr. Gwyneth Culp yesterday so everything fell into place quickly. Dr. Culp took Naezy into surgery today and tonight she is a completely different kitty."
Naezy's tumor is gone, but she still has a lot of healing to do. The post says that she won't be able to breathe through her nose for a few weeks and that Critter Crusaders is still waiting on the pathology report, but the doctor is predicting that she will eventually make a full recovery!
Critter Crusaders gave me a quick update on Naezy this morning! She has officially left the hospital and is doing well. She kind of looks like a little lioness right now!
