A New Czech Village Restaurant Will Be Opening Next Week
With so many local businesses shutting down, it's nice to tell you about a new business opening up!
We found out early this year that Lost & Found Provisions & Spirits would be coming to the Czech Village, but now we finally have an opening date! According to their official Facebook page, the restaurant hosted customers for a sneak peek during Houby Days last weekend, but the full grand opening is set for next Thursday, May 30th.
In charge of the new restaurant is Joel Kane, who you may remember as the former owner of Bata’s in Cedar Rapids. That restaurant, which opened in 2012, closed at the end of 2017. In its place now is Fong's Pizza.
According to The Gazette, Joel originally planned to open up the new restaurant in Marion, but ended up relocating to 69 16th Ave. SW in the Czech Village. The Facebook description reads:
"New, American Restaurant and Bar in Cedar Rapids’ Main Street District serving thoughtfully sourced charbroiled burgers and comfort foods and unique craft cocktails."
Here are a few of the photos of the interior/exterior posted to their Facebook page:
We're looking forward to checking out the new restaurant when it opens up next week! You can follow their Facebook page HERE.
