The Iowa City Summer of the Arts is gearing up to host several different events this summer, including the 2022 Iowa Arts Festival. This year's festival is set for Friday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 5th in Downtown Iowa City.
According to the Summer of the Arts website, the Iowa Arts Festival is an "award-winning, weekend-long community celebration featuring over 110 local and national visual artists." There will also be high school and college artists over in the Emerging Artist Pavilion, live performances, a variety of different food vendors, a beverage garden, and "creative, educational activities and entertainment for children."

Vendors showcasing photography, jewelry, sculptures, paintings, ceramics, wood creations, and more are all listed on the official website. As far as performances go, some of the acts on the schedule include Wooden Nickel Lottery, Asleep at the Wheel, KG & the Drive, Dickie, Pinicon Drift, and the Wontu Trees.
